review 1: It is a beautiful and enchanting story with a lot of cruel and quite disturbing aspect mixed within. It reminds me of Alice In Wonderland... everything is vivid and splendid, but beneath it all they are monstrous creatures. I really enjoyed this book and the many different characters that took part in developing Jenny's character. She becomes an entirely different person by the end of the book and it is all do to the cruelty of most of the characters. I like the fact that no one is safe in this world, all the characters are corrupted in one way or another. There is a lot of betrayal and hurt that is surprising and makes you wonder the depths of the characters. The story seemed to short and unfinished to me, but I think it grabbed the main theme. This is one of my favorite ... morelove stories, because it is unpredictable and unexpected. The ending is shocking and heart-felt. I would recommend this book to fantasy fans.
review 2: Ok, um I seriously loved this book with my whole heart. I am already a sucker for anything fey related(well mostly, some are just horrible)and this book did not disappoint. I ADORED the fact that the author used characters from traditional faery lore, like Oberon, Queen Mab, Puck, etc. I can say I haven't read a story quite like it, I really appreciated the well known characters, but the actual plot itself was so amazing and enchanting. less
