review 1: I have no idea what I just read, but I liked it. It was totally random and full of delightful puns and references to tons of other things. The only thing that kept this from becoming a 'favorite' is the use of unnecessary foul language. There was a lot of it...and most of the time it did nothing to the story line. Call me a prude, but I hate reading stuff with a lot of curse words in it. To me it just doesn't add to the story.

... moreugh actual plot to make sure it doesn't feel totally random. Apparently this was done over several years, which explains the evolution of the art throughout the book. Not to say it's bad by any means in the beginning - it's great - but it definitely gets better.Maybe my favorite thing about this volume, though, was the extras in the back. Some of the origin stories had me laughing out loud and the reference guide is excellent. This Ryan Browne fellow knows how to make a comic book. less
