review 1: **Thanks to Tule Publishing and Netgalley for this copy**Another good one in the Christmas around the World Series. I enjoyed the tiny Scottish setting and I loved how Andrew was the "laird" of the area. Him and Juliette had a fun chemistry from the beginning. I liked how we got to look back at Andrew's past and see why he felt like he did about his house and Christmas. The ghost tv show aspect added a fun bit to the book as well.
review 2: What a chillingly brilliant Christmas novella. Wilson had me on my toes throughout. I couldn’t believe the twists and turns that she worked into this story. She set the scene perfectly in this Scottish house perfectly and made it into a Christmas that I’ll never forget. Wilson not only made me laugh with the absurdly... more realistic situations her characters found themselves in, she also engaged my emotions and had chills running down my spine with her absolutely original storyline.I quite enjoyed getting to know the characters as they got to know one another. Going from a strictly professional relationship to a much more personal one not only increased the relationship between the characters themselves but gave readers an inside peek at who these two are. By taking this interesting approach to their development Wilson gives her readers a very interesting look at who her main characters are, both inside and out. The supporting cast in this novel was virtually non-existent, but this worked very well for the story. The main characters are more than strong enough to carry it on their own.I loved this story. It was hilarious & personal all at the same time. The premise was original and the writing inspired.
