review 1: Really good and useful book for those who want to improve public speaking. It is a bit different from those know-how books with a lot of advice and bullet points. In my opinion, this book a little bit less structured, however provides a personal touch, and is told through examples from personal experience. Sometime it gets in the way of delivering the message, but on the other hand it makes it more interesting to read. This is easy read book, that might be finished over the weekend.
review 2: This was a very candid and down-to-earth description of the life of a public speaker. At times I felt that some of the stories included in the book were superfluous and some of the name dropping seemed a bit contrived. Overall the book was lighthearted, transparent, and i... morenformative. The author illustrated many issues faced by public speakers and teachers and gave resources and tips to face these. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to others interested in the topic. less
