review 1: I've read all the books in the series (so far), out of order, and first, kudos are in order for writing a series of books that fit well together but also stand alone well.I enjoyed all of the books, but this one was the best, I thought. The mystery was solid, and the plot was well constructed. The characters, as always, leap off the page and shine.Highly recommended for everyone who loves a good mystery.
review 2: Enjoyed this one. Story - no gaping holes, a little disjointed at the start and probably could have done with a bit more at the front.. Having said that it filled in as we went into the story. I do love me a good mystery and I think best of all I can say that Scott has written a really good one I was second guessing all the way to the end and didn't r... moreeally get close.Characters - Great characters, funny if a little on the fluffy side but I have to say that I've been reading a bit to much lately where we delve into the characters more than the story and I've always said I like knowing the characters better. The main is good though and there is some good internal dialogue with him that makes you understand/picture him better. The secondary ones are well written to.I'm looking forward to seeing more from this character and writer. Look forward to seeing where things go and how we get there.
