review 1: Moya might be described as prudish, stuck up or even a bitch since she has turned down every guy who has ever approached her. Ex hockey player Branden will not take no for an answer, even getting turned down TWICE in one day!Moya’s cannot allow herself to let anyone other than her best friend in. The problem is her best friend is also busy with her boyfriend! Will Branden be able to break down her walls? review 2: First of all, Cover is spot-on and easily one of the most beautiful I've seen and that definitely transmits the image of the main character.I bought it based on an excerpt in the guy's point of view and I was convinced.The plot was... more really relatable and realistic about Moya's need to be inside her bubble and not messing with anyone unless neccessary so she could ignore her problems and Branden's need to burst that bubble and transmit his love to her was as real as it could be.I really enjoyed their banter and how he was really patient throughout the book and giving her time to adjust but at the same time how he couldn't stop himself from trying to get her out of her element despite his own problems.The flow of the story was really nice and I like how Branden always focuses on Moya's problems besides his own really serious condition and I also like how he explained the reasons why he is not comfortable with his family among other things.I just wished that the ending was not so rushed, maybe I was hoping for a little more drama rather than a it's a complicated surgery and he might die ¡poof! he's totally fine and alive you may resume with your life kind of ending. I just needed more drama I guess haha. less
