review 1: Hot read which could have been better.Slade is your typical player what's different is that he's never had or wanted a girlfriend, in most books like this the player has been burnt in the past I liked that he has a great family, friends and home life. Samantha, at the start of the book she's with a lowlife called Jax who's cheating on her after she uprooted and moved to St. Louis to be with him.I loved the start of this book I liked the attraction between Slade and Sam, I also liked that we got both points of view. I felt it got a bit repetitive in places and seemed to be just drinking and sex, I couldn't for the life of me understand why Sam got drunk so much it didn't seem to fit, she loved Slade why get blitzed all the time. Anyway well worth a read especially since its... more such a good price.
review 2: OH MY GOD!! FIVE STARS AND SO MUCH MORE!!!!!!!!!!! From the moment I picked this book up, I just couldn't put it down, I fell in love instantly and I cannot even find the right words to even review this book!!! But here I go!Samantha Hall is a strong, independent woman who doesn't really rely on anyone. Sam and Slade couldn't be far more different yet they seem to click from the start. They're hot, passionate and completely in love with each other. I couldn't put this book down and I really loved the connection Sam and Slade had, it was instant, and it was hard not to fall in love with them. Slade went from being the guy the hooked up with anything with legs to the guy who fell hard and fast for Sam, and committed to her without any hesitation. This book was amazing and Shantel deserves so much praise. I cannot wait to start the next book!! less
