review 1: A nice follow up to Snow Angel. Yes it's much shorter but it allows us to see a more mature and committed relationship, even if Jay's sister, April is still giving them trouble. In fact, she's much worse this time and the author's finally given us a reason for her actions. The depth of Dean and Jay's feeling are handled well, and some of the dialogue explaining their relationship and how they feel about each other is wonderfully written. This piece is definitely short and takes place over a weekend, so the pace is quick. There also isn't much in the way of secondary characters, yes people weave in and out of the anniversary party they're attending, but no one but Jay's sister April is a consistent. What can I say. It's a enjoyable sequel I've enjoyed more than ... moreonce.
review 2: Rather unnecessary sequel (to Snow Angel) but entertaining nonetheless. We get to see Dean and Jay one year later at a wedding anniversary. Jay's sister April tries to mess up a good relationship because she doesn't gets "it". Luckily all gets resolved because Dean and Jay are made of sterner stuff. It was fun to see them one year later, how things have worked out, what hasn't and how they have evolved as a couple. less
