review 1: I'm loving this serial! The way in which each installment begins with a chapter from the killer's POV is brilliant. It ratchets up the tension while delivering clues.This one may be my favorite because of my delight in watching the dynamics between Kate and Jaxon change. Kate gave her trust, exposed herself, made herself vulnerable to Jaxon. I don't know a lot about BDSM but I felt Bell did a great job of conveying the power exchange in a D/s relationship. I feel I have a better understanding of Kate and Jaxon's pull on each other.Ms. Bell also did an excellent job of stirring the pot. So many things came to light - hunts, clues, red herrings - I'm not sure I have any clue as to who's behind Alyssa's murder.
review 2: This review will be for the whole series (f... moreour books)! I discovered Shelly Bell by beta reading for one of her books, and since i am addicted! But White Collared is now one of my favorite!!! Well written with a story that is deep, interesting and well put together, full of plots and twists, it will blow your mind! The characters are broken and strong, interesting but mysterious, sexy and hot without lacking brain cells! I loved most of them and hated a few! The writting style is so amazing that you will feel all the emotions that Kate goes through and you will think that you unraveled the whole plot at every twist just to have another one pop up to point you in another direction! The thrilling factor will make you addicted, the deep and emotional (sometimes a little taboo) subjects will make you sad, shocked, compassionate and even angry! The whole series is an amazing roller coster ride!!!!! I did't want it to end!!!! I loved every minute of it and am putting my two thumbs up high in the air!!!!!! less
