review 1: This book wasn't terrible and I didn't hate it. But, it seems to drag a little. Most of the spooky/scary stuff doesn't take place until very close to the end of the book. And where the storyline was headed was somewhat predictable. (Or maybe I just have a natural talent for picking up on foreshadowing?!?!) This wouldn't be the first thing I recommend but if you're bored and looking for a cheap read this will do.
review 2: I was not expecting much from this one because I have been disappointed lately by the free stuff out there. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was a fast read and fairly predictable in most areas. But I still enjoyed it. Let's face it, when you read all the time and spend hour after hour working things out in your mind, it is hard for an a... moreuthor to come up with something truly surprising and shocking. But it was still a good story. Parts of it could have used a little fleshing out and it would have been interesting to see some of it through the killer's eyes perhaps instead of him just popping up at the end and the book being over. I would love to have some more on Sam and his dad and why they are like they are etc. less
