review 1: This is the second book of A Sweetheart Sisters series, but is also a stand alone if you missed the first one.The story is about two single parents who discover each other for a second time..Mike Stark, who's ex-wife dropped off their two kids and walked away, must learn how to raise them...quickly.Diana Tuttle, who is a great single mom, still has issues from her dealing with her sons dad. Shirley Jump weaves a tale full of emotion, humor, matchmaking, and sometimes tears in a way that makes you connect with the characters and cheer for a "happy ever after". I'll be watching for the third book in this series coming out in September 2014....The Sweetheart Secret .
review 2: THE SWEETHEART RULES~~~~Second in the Sweetheart Series...Another winner in my book.... more...A fun, laugh yourself silly book, some tense moments but the outcome is truly something beautiful.Diana Tuttle is the Veterinarian of Rescue Bay's Animal Shelter..She is a strung out women with all the work she is doing, and with raising a 15 year old son by herself it's not easy...the struggling between them gets worse...her ex comes back and tries to make it all fun and games for there son...see what happens between mother and son...what will become of there relationship? Mike Stark-Sexy Coast Guard who has his own issues...His ex has just literally handed there two daughters to him while she heads off on vacation..So he heads to Rescue Bay..no way is he staying where his ex lives with them..so he stays at his best friends house...While trying to connect with his daughters who are two very smart little girls, that will grab you and make you fall in love with them..let's just say he has his work cut out for him..When Diana and Mike see each other after the one hot night they spent together 6 months ago things are a bit awkward...especially since he just leaving her a note and returning to the Coast Guard which was his home...but he still has feelings for her which surprises him...but now having his daughters in towe wants to concentrate on getting to know them better...They both don't want to start anything...Now with the help of Olivia, Diana's sister she will show Mike she has moved on, but when Diana see's Mike again at a Barbecue at her sisters house there is no use... The attraction between them is undeniable, and neither one of them can focus...There is the group of women known as the "Ladies Quilting Club" from the retirement home know as the Golden Years.....Greta Winslow,Pauline, and Esther..the match making trio..They're a riot..not one moment you won't laugh with these women..They love happy endings...They will do whatever it takes to accomplish it...and I mean anything...I really suggest this book...I loved THE SWEETHEART BARGAIN which is the first in Shirley Jump Sweetheart Series...I was given this as a gift for an honest review... less
