review 1: This was a great love story. I concur with most readers who say that Emma jumped to conclusions a little too often, but I felt like I could relate as I have a friend who does that. I love Jack's character and his attention to detail. I also love the fact that he was willing to fight for his girl, even if his girl was the one standing in his way. Overall, I love the book and look forward to spending more time at Summer Lake.
review 2: I may have given this book fewer stars if I had read something else first, but since it was the first romance novel I've read in a while, I really liked it. The story actually had substance and flowed well. It wasn't over cheesy, as the cliche romance novels go. I was able to read it easily and quickly, and I actually wanted to rea... mored it after I'd put it down, which is good enough for me to give it the five star rating. less
