Akagami no Shirayukihime
review 1: Started promising but in the middle was getting a little dry. The female lead character is not well developed and doesn't have any characteristic personality. The prince is a likeable character and sweet. for me the friend of Shirayukihime is he most notorious character and one you kinda like the most. The others characters are dull and easily desappear from the readers mind. The romantic story was good at the beginning but as I kept reading little by little I started to lose the interest in the story. I read more volumes of this manga but I'm not concerned in finishing it.
review 2: This series is probably one of the best written and undiscovered gems out there. It happens to be my current favorite one for the last two-three years now. This is a made for Disne
... morey Movie. I have been an adamant follower/stalker of this story and you can't help but love Zen, Shirayukihime, Kiki, Mitsuhide, Obi, Ryuu, and many, many more of the characters in here. This is a classical story where boy meets girl. Okay a there is a bit more to it than that, but that is a good place to start. She was born with red hair and because it is so rare the prince wanted her for himself. Well, Shirayukihime didn't want to be just an item on display and soon forgotten, she has other plans for herself. She just doesn't know what those things are just yet. So, she decides to defy the aging 19 year-old prince, cuts her hair, and flees across the border to the kingdom of Clarine. There she meets new people and she soon becomes a part of their little click'. She ends up as an assistant in her favorite career field as a pharmasist. Not only that, but Shirayukihime manages to make new friends, new enemies, gain a love interest or two, allude being the concubine of the prince of her former contry, falls in love and still manages to get kidnapped over and over again, somewhere among all of that other stuff.***Quote***People say that red is the color of fate, right? Now you may think it's only troublesome, but it might connect you with something unexpectedly good. less
