review 1: I have to say I really enjoyed this little bit of erotic writing. It was fun, and it was funny. The sex was well done but didn't overpower the whole story and I liked the characters. It's really more like 3.5 stars for me but what the hay I'll put four instead of rounding down. The Good: The ménage dynamic in this story was really well done for the most part. Though it mainly deals with Sabrina and Q's feelings. The tension and passion between the girls are quirky and heartfelt and I really felt for them. With the few books out there that are f/m/f ménage the girls tend to melt into one being to me. It didn't happen in this book. They are both very different, yet they seem perfect for each other. I like that for a BDSM novel it's fairly lighthearted. Most of the books de... morealing with kink has very broken characters. The threesome has issues and flaws, but it's not heavy in the book. Not everyone into BDSM is a Christian Gray (ugh) with severe trauma and control issues. It was a nice break from that formula. Of Man is messed up, meets girl who is equally messed up and they beat on each other for love. I like some of those but this was a nice change. The Bad: I never really got a feel for the male in the story Jude. His character was glossed over a lot. It was more about Sabrina and Q than it was him. All I ever really knew about Jude was: He's into kink, he's blond, he has a hang up about his dad. Jude's issues are never really explored and you don't really hear too much about how he feels. He was really just the token dick, though he had some good dialogue. I just wish he was more flushed out like Sabrina and Q. The other thing with Jude that sort of bothered me, but I'll not hold it against the book is how laid back a Dom he is. I don't mind reading about laid back Dom's but he's really laid back. He's so easy going I had trouble believing he could actually top two bratty girls. It's explained that it works for them and it is talked about in the book, but I wanted him to be a little more Dominant than he is. But that's just a personal preference. The other thing that bothered me is kind of silly, but it did. The ghost in the story. Yep there's a ghost, and they barely touch on it. It's in two chapters then hardly ever talked about until you get to the epilogue. My gripe is that the ghost just seemed completely unnecessary. I was intrigued and wanted to hear more about it, but was left wanting. If your not going to expand on it, don't put it in the story. All in all its a really cute book. I can't believe it's written by three authors. It wasn't disjointed and I can tell I'll read this again when I'm feeling naughty.
review 2: I picked this one up on a whim. It was 99c & about ghost hunters, I thought "Hey, Halloween is coming up! Let's read something smutty AND scary." Well, honestly the ghost hunters bit was entirely misleading. There was maybe two scenes regarding that. This is a FFM BDSM menage. The BDSM is not too tame, but I did get a little tired of the constant "little girl" stuff. However, Domme's just aren't my thing. Too scary or just not sexy. I don't know. Jude on the other hand was an excellent Dom. I loved him and would have loved more from his POV. This was a quick, fun, sexy little read. For 99c it's ok! 3 Stars less
