review 1: This is the first book I've read by Stephen Colbert, and I chose to listen to it on audiobook. I figured since Stephen Colbert himself was narrating the book, a lot of the sarcasm and characters would come off better hearing it read aloud. I have to say that I really did enjoy it. I do believe hearing Stephen Colbert himself making all of the ridiculous statements brought it home in a way that simply reading it in print wouldn't be able to do. It felt more like listening to The Colbert Report than anything else - I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan. If you're not a Colbert fan, what made you think this book would be for you?
review 2: I listened to this as an audiobook, which probably helped my enjoyment of this book. I feel like comedians like Colbert
... moreand Stewart are much funnier and more entertaining when you watch them on their respective shows. What you miss in this format is the ad-lib comedy and mistakes that make them laugh (and that somehow still make it into the show) that also make me laugh. Overall, I thought this was a funny book and I will read his next. less

Funny if you like the same joke repeated over and over for over 3 hours ...
