review 1: I honestly forgot I was reading a non-fiction book. I love the way Steve Sheinkin use historical fact to weave a fascinating tail. I learned so much from this book. I had no idea what a hero Benedict Arnold was before he chose to betray his country. This book skillfully points out the reasons why Arnold felt he was justified in doing what he did. The events leading up to the treachery are plainly laid out. As with all of Sheinkin's books I could not put it down!

I didn't know how interesting the Revolutionary War could be! Great middle school nonfiction!
