review 1: So glad i picked this up from my TBR pile. This a great story told from both the point of view of an emotionally scarred man and an injured gyr falcon. There were many parallels and foils with the many different relationships and sub-plots that occur. This book is a slow read for even a fast reader. I think that is an absolute must with this story b/c patience and slow healing is a running theme.
review 2: This is a story about second chances and redemption. Two stories intertwine; the man's story seems a bit unrealistic as he is seeking forgiveness for a truly heinous crime.
