review 1: Many thanks to my sister who decided to pick up this book from the sales corner at the bookstore and add it to our bookshelf. If not, I would've missed out on a truly inspiring and brutally honest masterpiece.What Suraya Sadeed has done extends more than just bringing hope and aid to the Afghan people; it brings hope to others in need and to others that can provide that need by showing us how every little thing counts, and how will power can pave the way to miracles. I once read of a little boy who used his money to buy dog food for stray dogs on the street. He managed to raise enough money to start his own shelter. I believe one day (not too far from now), he will become another Suraya Sadeed.By writing this book, I believe Suraya Sadeed potentially led the way to the bir... moreths of many others like her. Helping bit by bit, raising funds, raising awareness - she showed us by example how it could be done, and how relatively simple it would be for others to do the same for their cause when their lives are not endangered. This is not to say that causes where lives aren't endangered are minor compared to Suraya's - all causes, big or small, dangerous or safe, as long as they are aimed at helping people, are noble in their own right.I really hope that the HTAC can continue their brilliant work and bring hope to the Afghanis that need them the most. And I will embrace Suraya's deeds as an example of what it means to be a part of this world.
