Better Date than Never
review 1: License to Date is by Susan Hatler. It is an easy and short romance. Kaitlin has just broken her engagement and called off her wedding. Even the wedding dress went on E-bay. Paul had the misfortune to engage in an affair with her sister of all people. Melanie did not know who Paul was which was her only saving grace. Kaitlin has sworn off men and is putting all her energy towards redoing her house. Her friends, Ginger and Kristen think she needs to start dating. A bet is made, if Kaitlin goes on five dates and gives them a chance, Kristen and Ginger will help her paint her entire house. That seems easy enough but is it? Will Kaitlin be able to keep her heart intact for five dates? Can she find five dates in a week so she can paint next wee... morekend?
review 2: My favorite in this series so far, and free on Amazon as of 2/15/14.Kaitlyn has sworn off of dating after she finds out that her fiancé, Paul, cheated on her (unknowingly with her own sister). Now, 4 months later, she just wants to focus on remodeling her house. Her best friends are not leaving her in peace though. They want her to date again and off to paint her house with her, if she'll go on five dates. While waiting for her first date, Kaitlyn meets a bartender, coincidentally named Paul. He's sweet, charming, and extremely good-looking, but she isn't interested in real dating! During her other four dates she keeps running into Paul (it may be because she keeps suggesting his place of employment ;). Sparks fly, and her other dates never have a chance. Will she give Paul a chance to win her heart, or will she continue to protect her heart? The romance develops in about a week, I wish it had been drawn out longer. The story was so funny and sweet though, I loved Paul, and how Kaitlyn couldn't resist seeing him again, even when she shouldn't have been (because she was on other dates). Great chemistry, while still keeping the story clean. I loved it! less
