review 1: From the cover and the synopsis it is not what I expected. A wonderful sad tale of two broken individuals who wanders if they can love again. Aelisim has fled Washington to the backroads of Montana to flee her stalker Adam. Adam was once a friend who accidentally killed Aelisim fiancee Brent when Brent tried to rape her. Something about that night send Adam into overdrive and he became obsessed with her. Patrick or Pat himself is dealing with trauma. A fiancee who emotionally and physically abuse him. His boss who happens to be Aeliisim uncle ask him to check in on her and make sure she's okay from the stalker Adam. What transpires between both characters is touching sweet and wonderful. Great story and backdrop of family members and other characters. One thing I would ch... moreange though is the pace was pretty slow and I felt the book could have come to a conclusion quicker than its 300 plus pages.
review 2: This story had a lot of potential. Problems I had were the many, many descriptions of the area, environment, houses that got old fast. Good descriptions are what allow me to live the story and I love Montana, too, but it was overdone. The heroine was okay; the hero was a good guy, but too emotional. The stalker guy should have just been called annoying and a liar instead of a stalker. Way too unrealistic the way he changed. There's an unfinished story about a guy who was interested in June and trying to keep it quiet, so I guess you have to read the next book to find out what it's all about. That's annoying as all get out for me.It could have used a grammar and spell check to clean up the many misused words and grammatical errors. less
