review 1: This book captured my attention from the very first line and I had a hard time putting it down until I had finished it. The story is filled with suspense, romance, and a psycho killer that is very smart. It keeps you hanging on the edge of your seat, but not too long. I also liked that the heroine didn't make stupid decisions that land them in the hands of the bad guy as they sometimes do in other books I've read. I loved the location - Charleston, SC - one of my favorite places. Looking forward to reading another book by this author.
review 2: I enjoyed reading this book. It was fun, sweet, a little nail-biting, and had the perfect ending. I would enjoy reading this again. I loved the characters and would definitely like to read the rest of this series. I wa... mores a little confused at the beginning, getting the characters straight in my head, but it didn't take that long. The first half of the book was a little slower (hence 4 stars) but toward the last half the pace had picked up. By the last chapters I was turning pages pretty well. This was a freebie and definitely a surprising find. Got me a little hooked for the series. I enjoyed getting to know all the characters and looking forward to knowing the rest better in the other books. Overall, a good book to read and escape into or for relaxing a little. Enjoy less
