review 1: I really enjoyed this book by Tamsyn Bester. This is the first of her books that I have read and will definitely read more from her. The story was really great and grabs you from the beginning, but there were a few unanswered questions, items that made this a four star read instead of a five star.We meet Cassey who is working her way up at a publishing firm, when she wakes up from a hot dream about a guy she has never met, and then runs into him the same day at work to find out that it is Kyler Knight, her new boss. Now first I would have thought she knew Kyler, but how she dreamt about him before knowing him is never explained, and I just don’t understand.I love Cassey and her character, she has not let her childhood and past define who she is and she is a successful wo... moreman, and stronger than anyone I know who would have come from the same situations she is in. Her best friend Quinn, OMG I loved her, she is a fierce woman and an amazing best friend. Quinn keeps telling Cassey she needs to get laid, and sees the attraction between Cassey and Kyler. Problem is Cassey doesn’t want to be another notch in Kyler’s bed post and she also doesn’t want to sleep with her boss.I loved Kyler and Cassey’s attraction and relationship with each other. As much as Cassey didn’t want to like him, she did, and I loved how Kyler dealt with this. I.E. Kissing her in the office and walking away. I laughed out loud on that scene. These two have one of those “insta-love” relationships that neither of them will admit, or act upon. When they end up in an arrangement of sorts, you see that these two really do belong with each other even if both of them are too stupid at times to admit it. (Thank god for Quinn!)This story has everything, the drama, the crazy ex, douche bag guys trying to date Cassey, tears, happiness and Laugh Out Loud moments. I really enjoyed this story, heck I read it in one sitting, I just wish we would have had more answers, i.e the dream, more time with Kylers parents, etc. I really liked this book and will definitely read more by Tamsyn Bester in the future.
review 2: ARC copy provided for an honest review.          This book might be my guilty pleasure because it got all the reasons to make me hate it, but I loved it. I really enjoyed reading it from the first scene. It captured me and didn’t let me free until the end of the book. The writing style is perfect. I really loved it the most in this book.             Cassey is a sweet girl who worked hard to be in a good place after living her entire life in a trailer park with shity parents. She wants to stay in the place she worked hard to get. She is perfect. Something that I loved about Cassey that she didn’t forgive her parents who had done the worst job to be parents. It felt so natural to me because everyother story they always gives a great example about how to forgive even when people hurt you. Cassey didn’t, and I respect her for this.                Kyler is a total womanizer who changes after meeting Cassey. He wants her and even when his dad told him no, he did it anyway. I didn’t like Kyler so much; I felt he was so cliché and that he was pushed. I didn’t feel anything he felt, and I didn’t understand him.               For the secondary characters; I loved all of them; except Jesse. They were written in a beautiful way. Even Drew was written in an amazing way; I felt his ego. It gave the story bad characters between all the angels. I would like to love Jesse, every story needs the villain, but she was also pushed. She didn’t feel natural jealous ex, but I felt that the author done a very hard job to make her that, and she failed. I love Quinn and her boyfriend. They were nice touches to the story.             Here are the things I didn’t like about this book. The characters weren’t well developed; I felt that they were pushed to love each other. Kyler’s personality weren’t that great; it wasn’t natural, I felt that the author has done a hard job to get him to be like that, unlike Cassey who was so natural to me. I found some scenes in the books that resembles to Beautiful Bastard, I know that might be okay for some, but I don’t like it when I find scenes in the books that resembles to any other book.                Overall the book was good, and I enjoyed it as I said it is my guilty pleasure. I hope you like it more than I did less
