review 1: This was an odd one. The plot worked in theory but there were a number of holes that threatened to swallow me whole if I let myself think too much about them. It felt to me as though the answers were too simple and within reach, I didn't feel that what was happening to Rowen and Alex was genuine. The idea that he'd fallen in love with a dream was one thing but to have Rowen reciprocate his feelings so quickly just didn't sit well with me. Don't get me wrong, Alex was certainly worth loving but it all happened a little too fast for me to find it believable. An easy read, either way, and a nice light way to spend a lazy winter afternoon.
review 2: I adore Tara Fuller, but I must admit I am sick with envy after reading her amazing debut. PERIGEE MOON is so rich wi... moreth beautiful language that it makes the writer in me ache. Her metaphors are original, her style as smooth as silk. It's like she naturally knows how to bring forth the best possible comparisons and descriptions to pull the reader right into the scene. In short, there is only one word to describe her writing -- exceptional. And then we get to her characters and I'm just blown away. Rowan is broken on the outside, craving love and attention on the inside. Basically, she's the literal example of many teenage girls. Then there's Alex, who is strong and caring and oh so sexy. The chemistry between these two leading characters will make you wish she'd written a sequel and then crave to read anything else she writes. I'm now *dying* to read her next novel, INBETWEEN, and will be impatiently counting the days until its release! less
