review 1: This was a quick read...This story was funny and had just enough romance in to to have my attention..Ava just got out of a bad relationship. Her 2 year old ex boyfriend cheated on her in their apartment. She decided to pack up and go live with her aunt. The only problem was that her now ex boyfriend Kyle was not going to take no for an answer. He was mentally abusive, and was on the verge on being actual abuse. Well, it just so happen that while she was having her "pity me" party that her best friend had convinced her to go to the club. She was having a great time until this guy sat next to her at the barhe was annoying. He would say just the right thing to piss Ava off. She was a strong independent woman and just was giving it right back to him. That was until she realiz... moreed how sexy he was. He told her that his name was Trevor. HE tried to ignore him, but her body was telling her another. They needed up at the dance floor and shared a very sexy kiss. They ended up going their separate ways, and both of them couldn't stop thinking about each other.here is when the book starts to get really good. See Ava finds out that Trevor is going to be her boss for this project. So, now for the next couple months they have to share an office and get this proposal done. She was excited to work with him, but she was not ready for a relationship. their friendship keep getting hotter and hotter. They both put it on the table that they were just "friends", but it was fun to see both of them push each other to the edge. What would be a book without some drama!!! Ava will have to figure out what she wants out of their friendship when she realizes that Trevor is really protective when her ex boyfriend comes around, and also when other girls approach them. Then when she finally gets the courage to make a move all hell breaks loose and could change everything forever..Trevor is going to have to find out what the signals mean, and how to approach them in a good way. Trevor's sister makes a visit and things will also heat up to the point of a another disaster. He needs to get over his fear to actually tell Ava how he feels before it is too late. On top of everything they have to keep a professional behavior at work and make sure no one realizes what is going on. they will get more and more projects together so they will have no choice but to work together. This book will have you hanging till the very end, and also will have you screaming for the next book.
