review 1: I love the growth of Evan in this book. in the first one, I sort of wanted to shake him and sort of rolled my eyes at him. but this book showed him in a better light, whereas the first book focused a little more on Matt's growth, in my opinion. And by the end I grew to love Evan just as much as Matt, and of course my love for them together grew. and Jim and Griffin popping back up is always a delight. Ugh, I just really love this series and I wish it was longer. but I still have one book to go! :D
review 2: 3.5 Stars - Overall, I liked this much better than the first book, though I felt parts of it were just a rehash of the original; The major conflict was still Evan with himself. I found the second chapter from Jim's pov odd and out of place. The threat of the
... more grandparents unnecessary drama, although I could see how it pushed Evan into looking at his feelings. I loved how Matt stepped up and enjoyed the romantic parts of the story.I should mention, I never read book two, which is why the stuff about Griffin and Jim didn't matter to me in the least. less
