Keith is a grade A asshole. As you read how he has manipulated her you begin to wonder if he was only after one thing all along. The betrayal wasn't at all what I was expecting it to be at first and then it all clicks.Emma is a very unique woman. She is so strong yet so weak at the same time. She is a very emotional woman, but when she sets her mind to something she is determined enough to pull through. The banter and relationship between her and Riley is hysterical at times. When you realize how old they actually are, it's comical to think of how they act with each other. They still act like kids, but when it's time to be grown up and there for each other they are in every way.Derrick and Pete are great guys. They make the circle of friends complete. A tighter group of friends would be hard to imagine. They break the barriers of boys and girls can't be friends. It doesn't matter to them, never has, never will.This book is such a good and emotional read. This group goes through so much together and separately that you wonder how they manage to cope at times. Have a tissue ready because there are some parts that your going to need it. The ending was perfect. I hope the next book will hold some surprises that I'm wishing for. This is an excellent series. You can feel all the emotions as the characters are going through them.Touched By Another is a 5 star read.It'll have you guessing, have you shocked,have you feeling betrayed, loved, and finally happy.It's a must read book from a must read series.I received a copy of this book for my honest review.
review 2: I had been patiently waiting for Emma's story and was so excited to receive in ARC. We had discovered little pieces of Emma's story in the other touch stories and I was anxious to see where this one lead. It did not disappoint, I was so glad when Emma finally was strong enough to leave that lousy husband of hers and the ending was exactly what I had hoped for. I would recommend to everyone, however I would read the other books in this series first. less
