review 1: I held off reading this novella series until the week before the release of "The Saint" just so I would have some new Reisz to read and build my anticipation for June 24th. The Good Knight introduces us to Lance and as with all of Ms. Reisz's characters you are endeared to him in no time. What makes Lance really interesting is Nora's possible unique interest in him. In The Good Knight we get more insight into Mistress Nora's daily routines and clientele. We also have an opportunity in this novella series to see Nora/Eleanor's internal growth and separation. All five books are real "quickies"but very satisfying.
review 2: So novella 3, by far my favorite and in reading some of my book buddies is their favorite as well. Why, because hello Soren makes and appea
... morerance and when he makes an appearance, he does it with a good beating, a good mind game and some serious sexy times. So Nora goes to see Soren because, lets face it, a girl has needs and since Kingsley won't let her have Lance, she goes to the man that can give her pain and pleasure. Nora confesses to Soren how much she likes Lance and his troubles with his ex-wife. Soren being Soren listens and gives her much to think about.Moving forward, Nora visits a client and his bodyguard gets a little stupid for Lance's taste so Lance beast the crap out of him.Nora and Lance are back in her house having a meaningful discussion while he ahem gives himself pleasure since they can't do the deed together. Ring, ring, who's on the phone Kingsley, the threat is leading up to Nora's dungeon at the 8th Circle. On to the next! less
