review 1: I'm not usually one to like books with multiple stories in it. They are usually too quick for my liking. While these were relatively quick, they paused at a good place and knowing that they will continue the story just has me wanting more!Okay so separately, they were all interesting in different ways. Crave had the paranormal element, The Genesis Project had more of a sci-fi vibe, and The Getaway had the most steamy scenes so far. No matter what type of story you like, if you like adult writing, you should definitely try these stories! They are all good!I loved Crave from the first chapter. I really like Harper and I hope that things work out between her and Cass.Harper, for those of you haven't read these books yet, is a human. She is worked to the bone at the newspaper. ... moreShe has been trying to find out what happened to a missing teen. Her boss asks her to cover for a sick coworker and she agrees which is how she meets the band Crave in book one. She is attracted to Cass, the lead Singer of Crave in an unnatural way. He seems to be taken with her as well. When she is leaving the club, something happens which leaves her with lots of questions. This story has some of everything and I am enthralled. Despite being broken up into a few chapters at a time, it still felt like we got a whole story. :-)The Genesis ProjectI am not usually into Sci-Fi type books and this definitely fit into that category. That's not to say that I didn't like it.I wanted to give it an honest review so I read it all. I have to admit that by the end of book 1, I was really hooked. The main character Genesis, is a product of science. She can't let anyone know her secret. She has been sheltered her whole life until now. Now she has to go to the academy.By the end of the book, there are guys involved and it's starting to get really good! ;-)I've got to admit that The Genesis Project surprised me. I thought that I wouldn't like it. I was so wrong! I thought it was a little boring at first, but after the romance or lust (whatever you want to call it) started between Gen and the boys I couldn't put it down. The way it ended, **Fans face in an attempt to cool myself down** wow!The Getaway was the last story in the book . It was super quick. I really found myself getting ready for a cat fight!I really like Juliet and Mike seems nice enough but his mother and ex girlfriend Brooke are needing a beat down!No matter what type of story you like, if you like adult writing, you should definitely try these stories. They are all good!I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I honestly can not wait to get my hands on the rest of the chapters! ;-)
review 2: Romantic Tales: Bedtime Stories were the beginnings of three different stories in one book, short enough to read just before bed. The problem I found was I was left hanging wanting to know what happened next. All three of the stories kept me gripped, they were totally different from each other and each being a different genre. I like variety when I read. With Crave, I liked Harper although I think she worked far too hard. Following her own story and then helping out one of her colleagues too leads her to seeing the band Crave. Who coincidentally knew the girl that has gone missing too. Harper is immediately attracted to the lead singer even before meeting him she listens to his music and dreams of him.I know this story is going to be brilliant! The Getaway was romantic, a guy called Mike and girl called Juliet get away at his parents cabin. This is a comical read too but when Mike’s mom and dad come to the cabin, having never met Juliet before his mom immediately lets him know she doesn’t like her and wants him to patch it up with his ex – girlfriend I was like OMG talk about awkward!I am looking forward to the next installment of this one.The Genesis Project is years in the future when Earth is pretty much desolate and now Pars a the majority. A scientist biologically engineers a baby, a girl naming her Genesis , she is completely different from the other people and she is sent to school for a year so as not to let the governing bodies know she was an experiment. The problem Genesis has is the Pars want her, to taste her but she cannot let that happen for she will be discovered as not what she seems. This was brilliant, I really enjoyed it and again I cannot wait for the next installment. less
