I'm still crying from this ending!Let me go back to beginning, the book starts with some oh so hot loving between a sexy no name man and Jesminda. Then on next chapter it's 5 yrs later and the no name man is actually Draven from the Shadow Unit. He's been given a new assignment and it's Jes! He can't believe it! He has dreamed of her every night of the five yrs since they met. Jes can't believe he's here and he's suppose to protect her from her crazy ex who's been capturing vamps and selling there blood. Draven has always known that his wolf wanted Jes but now he wants her too! He will have her in his life! In walks the most adorable little 5 yr old girl faith she walks right up to Draven and says we are the same. Jes can't breathe while watching her with Draven. He can smell his scent on her! He does t know why he doesn't care this is his family! Then jesters kidnapped by Marcus and they do unspeakable things to her! Draven can't lose her again! He goes after her... I won't say what happen but OMG!What a funny, emotional, sexy, OMG book! This shadow unit is going to be a good series I just know it is!I can't wait to see what happens next!I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (RABT)FIVE MATED FAIRIES
review 2: I enjoyed the book it has love and paranormal with a bunch of different characters you don't normally see. I did have a problem with how all of the different races were introduced. It was like trying to play catchup (as if I'd missed the first book). A lot is thrown at you while you're still trying to figure out what is going on. The characters are interesting with some course personalities. This book just begins to scratch the surface of the criminal enterprise they are up against. It ends not in a cliffhanger per se but not a HEA either. It's obvious the next book will continue to delve into the mysterious Red Sun enterprise. It will be interesting to see what happens next. less
