review 1: Do not mistake this book as being a good source of data and statistics. This book is a fun collection of comics infographics (superheroes, manga, graphic novels). Some of them are funny, some have numbers, all are interesting and well-designed. A fun way to look at superhero statistics about comics for an hour or so. I don't know if I can really say that I've "read" this, more like "looked at it"...
review 2: This is a fantastic looking book. I just felt a bit bad reading it, though. I can only imagine Leong spending hours and hours tediously compiling data and organizing clever visual representations of that data for a page that I casually glance at and chuckle. It just felt so simple - which I guess is the sign of successful visual guides (taking complex or c... moreonfusing data and representing it so that it is simply understood). I dunno. It's a fun read. That I'll force myself to reread slowly. less
