The Fortune Cookie Diaries
review 1: This was one of those books that just made me roll my eyes and snort. Our MC is supposed to be a psychiatrist but she and her friend are the steriotype dumb bitches who I wanted to slap. How the hell did this dumb bitch pass her exams when she has the common sense of a blade of grass? I really hate having stupid women as so called heroines in the books I read!As for the plot, I thought it was pretty weak and the girls made it worse. Seriously if you see a unicorn out in your garden farting rainbows, are you going to think a local child is playing a trick on you? How the hell can kids get a horse/unicorn/whatever to fart rainbows at you? Their conversations are all about shoes, clothes, drinking and men which got pretty boring very quickly.Moved on to something ... moreelse.
review 2: This story was adorable, definitely not your ordinary, everyday read. I loved the surprising characters, especially the unicorn. This was a story I didn't want to end and was a little disappointed because I was left wanting to know more. There were some moments I had a hard time keeping track of which character was which, but this is one book I'd actually like to see a sequel for.I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. less

I laughed so much my husband came in to see what was going on. A quick read nothing serious.

If you like unicorns and fairy god mothers read this book. Too short, though.
