review 1: Today I needed something upbeat, to fight the blahs brought about by week after week of bone-chilling cold, ice, and snow. So I decided to download a Kindle version of this "dog book." I wasn't sorry that I did. It's a nice easy read, about "Briggs," a Boston terrier. Stolen from his owners' yard, he becomes the subject of an exhaustive search effort. Finally he mysteriously returns, after another Boston is rescued by them in the process. Heart-warming, refreshing, and good with a roaring fire and a hot toddy.
review 2: I originally picked this book because I like dog stories and this one is intriguing. It's a quick read and I debated giving the book a three star because "flyering" is not a word. I found it irritating and the author should have done at le... moreast a spell check to find and replace bloopers like this. Also at times I felt like the author went on too long about details but the question do they get their little Boston Terrier back or not kept me reading. It's also a cautionary tale for pet owners. In the back yard may not be as safe as you think. less
