review 1: This book was amazing!!! I would rate it 5 stars, but it had some typos.But once you start readng,the typo won't matter. Since this book doesn't have a description, I'll summarize it;Natalie Griffin,a girl in the small town of Marvel, has a problem on her hands. Her best friend, Amanda Cates, is getting married to a jerk, Matt Kendrick. She has to fix this before Amanda becomes a true bridezilla, if she's not already. When two old friends come back for the wedding as bridesmaids, will they reunite to get this bride to realize her true love? And will Natalie find her love...
review 2: This was a cute book. Natalie's friend Amanda is getting married, but to the wrong guy. Her bridesmaids get together and "kidnap" her to keep it from happening.The beginning was ... morevery good, but it quickly went downhill from there. It's written in present tense, but the author really doesn't quite understand what that entails and goes from writing everything in the present tense (even things that happened to the girls in high school) to forgetting that she was writing in present tense. Comma errors are rampant (seriously, why do people who want to write not learn how to use a comma correctly?). At one point, the author managed to forget that one of the characters was actually a bridesmaid.Something else that bothered me, and it could be just because I'm not from Texas so I don't understand, is the fact that Natalie seems to act like she's an old maid at 22. Honestly, the character is written more like a 35-38 year old than a 22 year old. Plus, she refers to her boyfriend by both names the entire book. I also find it hard to believe that the girls would plan out kidnapping their friend but would not bother to pack suitcases and have them stashed in the car.Overall, if you were a fan of GCB, you'll probably like this novella. It's cute, it's fun, and it's a really fast read. less
