review 1: A well-written book telling the revolutions in the Eastern European states. An easy to read history book. It encourages reading all those countries' stories seperately. It includes interesting details describing the mood of the crowds in those countries during the 1980s. The approach of the former USSR to the revolutions is also told in a well-balanced way. It also includes a chapter devoted to the expulsion of ethnic Turks from Bulgaria in late 1980s. Good work in sum.
