review 1: Before reading this book I thought that I'd really enjoy it because I was a huge fan of The Book Thief and Number The Stars, (I had to read Number the Stars for my school in 6th grade) when I started reading this book I was not really enjoying it. some things would be said that had nothing to do with of the rest of the story. some of the writing I feel was written for younger audiences, and I think my seven year old brother could have read the book without any trouble. I felt as though I was dragging my way through the book but eventually it started getting a little better. there was more suspense and there was more action too. it started to seem like the book was actually going somewhere! I was wondering what would happen next, but it wasn't forcing me to want to read dur... moreing a teacher's lessons, which some books make me want to do. and the ending! it was sad and disappointing and not entirely realistic. nine year olds aren't that brave. a friend recommended this book to me and I wasn't really a fan of it. it was quite predictable, at least for me. all in all the book was okay just not my favorite.
review 2: Hitler’s secret written by William Osborne is about a boy named Otto and a girl named Leni who have escaped from Europe and they barely made it out alive. Now Great Britain wants them to go back. As spies! They will be dropped behind the enemy lines after lots of training. Will the make it out alive? I recommend this book I think its a great book and if you like books with a lot of action you might too. less
