review 1: In the book, “the girl in the converse shoes” by Yaritza Garcia had an amazing story told in such a short book. I found this book by looking through the bookstore on my ipad and I thought that it would be a good book from the blurb. The conflict in the story was that Miles, the main character was humiliated to go to this party because he was getting picked on. He also was in search of this girl who………. “Miles had refused to go to the party a hundred times. He was already humiliated in school.” Pg.2. This shows how Miles has low self-esteem and that’s only because of a few kids in his school. I believe that miles should stand up for him self and try not to let little things get to him.
review 2: I downloaded this because it was a free ebook and t... morehe best way I can describe it is as short and sweet, by which I mean very very short and sweet. It is less than 10 pages long (see what I mean about short) and took about 5 minutes to read. Never the less it was an interesting idea which with (a lot of) work could be made into a half decent short story. It felt extremely rushed and as if the actual writing had been done far too fast and before you could get into the story it was over. On the other hand no one can argue they were bored. I would recommend giving it a go purely because it will take next to no time to read, already I think this review is in danger of being longer than the actual book. less
