review 1: Ok don't get me wrong for a free book I got forever ago it was a quick break from school holiday child madness that required absolutely no mental energy. I was hoping for a good growly possessive shape shifter alpha unfortunately that wasn't what I got.And normally I appreciate these books a little more but this one didn't work for me for 2 reasons and those are the insta love ( I am all for insta love and destined mates and such but this was literally insta same day marriage kinda thing and there just wasnt enough connection for me) But the major issue I had was the semi shapeshifted sex. Tara has renamed these fuzzy cock romance and sadly in this one I think we literally got one of those and that just made me feel more sqeemish that wet.But meh it was a free quickie so y... moreou know. Can't hate on it too hard :)
review 2: This is the story of Ezmerelda (an owl shifter whose family is trying to push her into mating) and Buzz (a bear shifter).When her family tries to set her up, she decides to go to the crossroads to find a mate where she meets Buzz.The transporter (her friend - Krisia) sends her through a magical portal into a place dubed the crossroads; where shifters go as a last resort to find a mate.I absolutely loved this story and I love the interaction between buzz and ezzy. less
