review 1: One of the most mercurial soccer players to ever grace the world, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. His world class talent has brought him to the crème de la crème of clubs. He even captains the Swedish national team. Ibrahimovic is the epitome of hard work, determination, and ingenuity. However, his journey to success isn’t as nonchalant as compared to many athletes. At a young age, his Bosnian-Muslim father and Croatian-Christian mother divorced. His father, an alcoholic. His mother, an emotional mess. Zlatan’s story begins in a rough-and-tough town in Sweden by the name of Rosengard, rubbing off on his personality. Soccer was the the way Zlatan liberated himself from the adversity he was born into. His raw potential was recognised whilst he was a teen and was sold to a club i... moren Holland. This was where his pro career and life story takes off. I think that Ibrahimovic wrote this autobiography because he comes off as cocky person because of his one-of-a-kind personality, but really is extremely hardworking from the day he was born (October 3rd 1981). I think that Ibrahimovic made a perfect balance between his life as a professional soccer player and a genuine person. Personally, I did not expect his writing ability to be of such standard. I really liked all the morales in this novel such as its okay to be unique. However, I disliked the profanity that was used quite often. All in all, this autobiography was one of the best, if not the best I’ve ever read. I recommend this book to avid readers, who like soccer just as much.
review 2: What a great book! Hypnotizing 350 pages. Ibra is of that rare breed of players that have a unique personality that shines in and off the pitch. He's cocky but makes no excuses for it, he's suffered most of his life but doesn't whine about it. He's a fighter, a warrior and a winner. He feeds from his setbacks to be even better. He has never played in a team that didn't go on to win a trophy, he's just THAT good!I have to admit though, that the writing style was a bit tedious to follow but I think this is exactly how Ibra talks, so the book is more like a long chain of thoughts from the man himself. I loved the fact that he was never driven by money. Sure, at the beginning of his career it was his main motive and he always wanted to be the "most expensive transfer ever" but still, it was clear that it was the passion to achieve more that fuelled him more than the money talks. I also enjoyed the way he talked about Helena, because Ibra never struck me as a person who would settle for less than a woman with a good head on her shoulders, and a strong personality to match his.All in all, great read especially if you're not a fan of Zlatan, because once you've read it, there's no way you're gonna be able to not love him! less

It's exactly as you believe it would be. As mad as a box of frogs! In a good way.
