Josiah Reynolds Mysteries
review 1: Josiah Reynolds wakes up in the hospital, her body broken and ruined from a fall off a cliff. Months and months of painful rehab, surgeries and pain therapy put this strong woman back together. She is not perfect and she still suffers greatly. Her daughter hired a therapist /body guard/ex-Marine because the man who caused her horrific injuries may still be alive. His body has never been found. Josiah's place has been completely redone and remodeled by her friends, and fortified by her daughter. Josiah begins to return to her former life as a beekeeper and honey producer.Life does not remain quiet. A friend's son drowned under mysterious circumstances, and she begins to investigate. Josiah wonders if life will ever return to a semblance of normalcy for her.I love the ... morecharacters in this book. I fell in love with Josiah, Franklin, Matt, and Josiah's 200+ lb dog, Baby, in the first book, Death by Honeybee. The characters grow in depth in this book. they go the extra mile and then some for each other. Looking forward to more from this author.
review 2: With work caught up for a change I had a few hours to myself this afternoon and decided to look through my Kindle library for something to read. I have been adding books for while in the hope of finding time to read them. I scrolled through and made a very random selection - Death By Drowning 2. This is the first book I have had the opportunity to read by Abigail Kearn. She is a wonderful writer. Once I started the book time escaped me. I could not put it down. Josiah Reynolds is a fun and lively character who deals with all life hands her. Mysteries surround her and she solves them in a methodical way that keeps you waiting for the 'wolf' around the bend. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a great mystery and has a few hours to become engrossed in a book. This has been a few of the best hours I have had in a long time!! Thank you Abigail Kearn!! less
