review 1: Terima kasih Fixi.Pertamanya saya sukakan MF2014 ini bukan hanya kerana ianya percuma tapi juga kerana isinya. Thumbs up! Hampir 84% suka. Itu dah kira A one kalau dalam SPM tak silap. Diperhatikan semua cerpen dalam ni ada selitkan pelbagai gimik dan peristiwa yang jadi trend kat media sosial dan media massa. Jadi tak susah nak faham. WARNING! Anda mungkin takkan suka kalau anda alah pada isu politik [yang fofuler semenjak-dua menjak ni] dan alergi pada media sosial. Ia lebih baik jk ada pandangan lebih terbuka terhadap isu semasa. Sangat2x sinikal dan Penuh ayat metafora yang tiba-tiba jadi mcm mimpi semacam penafian (detachment) terhadap tema sebenar.ps: silalah baca dan beli buku-buku terbitan Fixi banyak-banyak, supaya kita boleh dapat percuma kompilasi2 seperti ini l... moreagi pada masa depan ;)
review 2: 1. '99- First, that devil was so cool! Incorporating that huge hole that people kept making fun off had a great effect. My brother's 15 so he's going through the shitty phase of being a social (educational maybe?) experiment. Not saying that my generation wasn't a guinea pig as well but they had it worse. Selling their soul to the devil was supposed to be a grim occasion but a lawyer and a devil? You're dead meat, kids. (However, i find this one-shot funny)2. Perang Twitterjaya- "All cruelty springs from weakness"- Seneca. nuff said.3. Antara KJ dan Kevin Zahri- Peaked my interest on the whole whose this Kevin Zahri guy. KJ... not so much but my friends are crazy about him. Dunno why though.4. Ha! Haram!- Almost forgot about the issue about Cadbury. Is it wrong for me to not make a fuss about this? What's done is done. Just don't eat it if you know it's wrong. Complain to the authorities but extreme measures are just that. Extreme. *sniggers* It has already been a part of you anyway, eaten by your cells and such. This 'haram' business also shed light on how we treat others who had different belief. We are so rigid that we forget the need o be kind.5. Bantuan Rakyat Satu Malaysia- too close for comfort6. OKU dikurung- "There are three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each differently." -Robert Evans.The two unemployed men in the coffee shop actually represents our society. They don't really care about the truth. It's all about what they can gain from it. Even simply entertainment is still considered a gain. It also makes them feel good not to have the bad qualities portrayed by the media about these people. But to take responsibility? I think not.7. Terbang- The start was way to descriptive with no relevant to it whatsoever. I got really bored and I'm sorry to say that. I think I only like the part at the end where it turns out that the hallucination was caused by a chip embedded in the brain. This actually got me thinking. I remembered watching CSI Miami where a teen singer was monitored by her mother by putting a GPS chip in her arm. The chip in the brain is a step-up from this. Who knows, in time, this might be possibble. However, in the book Divergent by Veronica Roth, the personality of their citizens were monitored by a simulation similar to this one. The only difference was instead of a chip, it was disguised as a mandatory entrance exam to a faction. The story Terbang ceased to be a dud because of the twist.8. Terlempar ke Masa Depan- That was so freaking cool! Love it. Especially love the part where Malay words aren't simply adapted English words.9. Rujuk- Muahahahahahahahaha. OMG, this writer gets me! Well, most probably I just adore the style and the part of non-conforming to society's ideals. You are my favourite Malay writer. Well, second to Hlovate of course.10. Apple Pie- I was as confused as the main character, bloody hell. Did not interest me.11. E-mel dari Seberang- Cute. less
