review 1: I was pleasantly surprised with this quick read. A heartbroken woman is pushed into moving on after the unexpected departure of the man she believed was the love of her life. I was completely enthralled with the story. I found it to be impressively just as compelling a novella as it might have been as a full length novel... something often attempted but rarely achieved. Great, beautifully written, romantic read!!
review 2: I came across this book by chance, like I wasn’t even thinking about reading it and then I just read it. I know what short stories are like and everything but I am speechless. That’s not because I loved the book, its because I didn’t even like a single thing about it. For me, I need to understand the character and I know break ups are
... more hard and you need to let go of things that aren’t suppose to happen. We all know this, that if something happens to you, let it be and move on. If your boyfriend leaves you, get over it because you will find someone new who will sweep you off your feet and you will think whether you ever were in love?(The Ex). Its the circle of life. I am tremendously sorry if I failed to feel the love for any of the characters. I didn’t love the lead- I didn’t like Cora. Some time, love happens within days or months, I get that but if its such a rush then whats the point of being in love. I really hate mushy stuff like nicknames. When I meet my boyfriend I am just like “Hey, how was your day?”. The nicknames just ruined it for me. The author should write like novels instead of the short stories , in which one could actually experience things and fall in love with the character. Where it doesn’t feel like “Oh, you just broke up? I am interested in you, let’s date”.originally posted on virtualtick.wordpress.com less

it started off good, then it was like the fast forward button was hit and it was The end.

this book was way to short. I was unable to connect with any of the characters!
