_____________________________Last month, I shared my review of Unwind and gave it a whopping 6/5 stars. I really wished that that could have given this book the same rating. However, I could not. I loved how it add the same atmosphere and everything, but for some reason, I felt that there was something missing. Perhaps this story didn’t have the same suspenseful, thrilling, story telling I was hoping for like the first book did. Don’t get me wrong, this book still had those elements, but not used as much as the first book according to my views when I read it.
Onto the best parts, I really loved the introduction of new characters, some very interesting to learn about. I won’t go to much details, but Cam was the most interesting to read about from the selection of the new characters added to the series. Although, some characters may not appear as to who they appear to me, and that was one of the biggest parts of the stories. At first, some of these characters seemed to have great potential and become a good character for the story, but it just turns out I was completely wrong. They were definitely fun to read about, but it was just not what I expected.
I definitely enjoyed this books, but those twists made it even more enjoyable. Just watch out for those unexpected turns!
