review 1: I definitely didn't have high expectations for this book, but even comparing it to its genre peers, it didn't really stand out. To begin with, I think it is at least 100 pages too long. I also thought the flow was a little bit too choppy. Never-the-less, it was a quick read that was mostly fun. I try to read lighter titles like this when I am experiencing a bit of a reading drought, or if I have just read a bunch of emotionally charged books as a bit of a palate cleanse; and "Class of '98" fulfilled its cleansing role. Onward...

... more than the language I found the story delightful. I would have liked a little more at the ending. I was also disappointed with Matt a little during the end. I don't want to give anything away but for those that remember he makes this great statement before she leaves one morning and then he kind of gives up. I was disappointed in that. I found Jackie and Matt's character's fun! less
