On Friday, Los Angeles-based rap-punk duo Ho99o9 surprised us with their latest track “Neighborhood Watch,” a spooky number just in time for Halloween. But shortly prior to that, Parklife DC photographer Paivi Salonen traveled to Los Angeles to see Ho99o9 throw down at the Cloak and Dagger Festival – From Dusk Till Dawn on Oct. 20.
The Cloak and Dagger Festival, a culmination of regularly recurring goth nights co-founded by She Wants Revenge, took place at The Globe and The Tower Theatres in Los Angeles on Oct. 20-21. Comprised of New Jersey natives Yeti Bones and theOGM, Ho99o9 mix punk, hardcore, and rap to create their own brand of aggressive trap music.
“Neighborhood Watch” is a surprise Halloween release via IHC 1NFINITY from IHEARTCOMIX, the 1st record label with a shared music video universe. It follows the band’s debut album United States of Horror.
