review 1: Thanks Netgalley for a free read in exchange for a review. What a sweet holiday story! I get so emotional reading Christmas stories sometimes and this one wasn't any different. Very cute rendition of A Christmas Story using Levet as the ghost who takes a wolf through the past, present, and future. I was crying by the end but it's beautifully done, and definitely a unique twist. Very nice for a novella too. I loved it so five entertainment stars.
review 2: Celebrate Christmas Levet style with the Guardians of Eternity. A Very Levet Christmas includes Weres, Gargoyle and even a Christmas Angel. Fans of the series (like me) will love it. For new readers most of the characters are explained sufficiently but there may be one or two moments of confusion. This novell... morea would best be read in conjunction with the series or perhaps as a sampling of the series.This is a cuter sweeter tale where the focus is on forgiveness and not necessarily the romance. The I hope that there is a significant other in Levet’s future. The Christmas Angel seemed as if she was only passing through, but who knows? The take-off to Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is obvious but still remains original in the spin that Alexandra Ivy gives this story.
