review 1: If you’re looking for a romance with a bit of a different twist check out SETTING HIM FREE. I did and found it to be a change from the normal story of rich man meets poor girl and changes her life. In this entertaining short story the girl (Danielle) has a dream job and the man (Taylor) is an assassin. To be more accurate, Taylor is an assassin under arrest for the murder of his wife and handcuffed to the seat of an airplane. What is supposed to a fairly short trip to the mainland from a paradise island turns into a nightmare crash. Danielle is left with Taylor as the only two survivors of the crash. The attraction between the two come at them hard and fast. The problems they face to be together when they are rescued seem pretty insurmountable. Danielle is a strong woman... more that knows what she wants. Taylor is sick of the life he’s lead and is ready to give up at having any chance at a future. Danielle is determined to make sure Taylor has that chance at a new life. One that she shares. Worth reading if you enjoy a different kind of hero.
review 2: I liked the start of this book and both the main characters I really wanted them to get their HEA, I did feel the book could have been a lot better but ultimately it was free, without giving anything away lots of little things niggled me while reading like the fact that Danielle had issues with flying but she relaxed and took off her seat belt, now surely if you're at all worried about flying the last thing you do is take off your belt, I know I'm picking and this was only a small issue but it's the only example I can give without spoiling it. Still I did enjoy the book and it's free. less
