review 1: I hated it. I hated the characters, none of them were likable except maybe Trip and those two girls at the end. I hated the lack of respect for themselves and others the characters had and I know this is a work of fiction but holy shit, pardon my french, DO NOT GIVE THIS BOOK TO YOUR TEENAGE DAUGHTER! They set a TERRIBLE example for girls and I'm not one to say that quickly. There were no redeeming factors and no resolution at the end. It was awful. Don't read it.
review 2: 3.5-3.75? Not sure about many of the theories these girls hold to be true and I'm not sure why it felt like the pages were passing so slowly. The part of the book I adored most, the climax and ending, ...I wanted more of THAT. More of that feeling of being afraid of what comes next, of contr... moreadicting what your friends believe as you become your own person, of saying goodbye to high school and moving on. There was a lot of behavior I hope my daughter never pulls, and theories about boys and dating and women that I don't find to be true that I wanted squashed. less
