review 1: I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would after reading reviews describing it as fluffy. I enjoyed the flawed but likeable characters with real life situations. It is about a woman who thought she was happy but reexamines her life as it begins to unravel. She is a Pollyanna in a bubble of denial which is a self preservation tool. At first I did not like Silly Tilly as she did not try to delve into what was going on for other people (like her husband) and was stuck living in her high school days but as she gains clarity she becomes a more authentic and likeable character. Recommend this as a great beach read.

... moreut. Still, this is an excellent piece of women's fiction that explores issues like marriage, happiness, and fulfilling your dreams. It's a rare book for women that dares to say that maybe marriage and having babies aren't always enough for a happily ever after. Very well-written, entertaining, and thought provoking. less
