review 1: If you're looking for an erotic "Beauty and the Beast" complete with vampires and shape-shifters, Caressed by the Crimson Moon is your novel. The setting was a little hard to follow. For some reason I kept thinking that we were in a older time but it was actually modern day. The different factions of vampires, shape-shifters, and Shaw were hard to sort through. I'll admit that I did find myself skipping over some parts. Overall, the book was an easy read and the sex scenes were great.
review 2: So I love this series, Ms. Greene has the hottest vamps around! Dimitri's book is still my favorite though. I really liked Hadrian but the whole I'm not good enough for you thing got on my nerves. Hadrian is tortured by his past. He killed his twin, killed his sire at tr
... moreansition and took his sire's demon. Eva is a half breed and has been living with the pack since her mother passed away. Half breeds are shunned and treated horribly. Even though her dad is the alpa she still suffers horrible treatment. Long ago Hadrian and the former pack master made a deal for protection and it included the pack giving Hadrian one of the alpa's daughters. When asked to honor the agreement they decide it's an easy way to get rid of Eva. With the rumors of how horrible and crazy Hadrian is the pack doesn't expect Eva to survive. But Eva seems to be the only one who isn't afraid of Hadrian's demon and she's the only one who can get through to him. I liked Eva a lot, she's spunky, tough, and has a heart of gold. Once Hadrian forgives himself and can start living his life again there's no stopping his clan from flourishing! less
