review 1: I love the cover and it has a great plot. But................ The whole ending where it was suppose to be so intense just couldn't hold my attention. The book, I personally think, moved way to fast and you could tell this was a brand new author. Throughout the whole book you can see how new at writing the author is. She has an amazing story line that sounds like it'd be romantic, but it isn't. All because of her writing. Truly, it's not worth reading.
review 2: I'm not really into vampire-related books but i enjoyed 'Slayed' because the story focused on the life of the main character Daphne; from her wishing to have a normal life to having experienced one finally [well sort of] I think the author did a good job narrating the 'slaying scenes' :) I felt the tens... moreion, fear and excitement of the slayers as they entered houses etc. Hehe. it was a good book overall for me. I just wish there could have been more, maybe a second book? xD less
